Conservative Activist Offers Early Vote Action PAC
as RNC Alternative to Elect Republicans
On Monday, January 23rd, Scott Presler announced the launch of Early Vote Action (“EVA”), whose mission is to encourage early voting in an effort to elect Republicans up and down the ballot in 2023, 2024, and beyond.
On Friday, the Republican National Committee voted to re-elect Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, despite the base of the party overwhelmingly calling for change.
“It’s clear that the Republican Party is completely out of touch with the grassroots,” said Presler. “That’s why, in part, Early Vote Action was born. There are no early/mail-in voting infrastructures in the swing states, despite donors trusting the RNC to create the infrastructure necessary for Republican success. So, we’re stepping up to build what is required for victory, and we are eager to work with state/county GOPs to compliment their efforts in closing this gap. We’re not here to whine or complain – we’re here to win elections.”
The first test is in Wisconsin, where voters will elect a Supreme Court Justice on April 4th. The current makeup of the Court is 4-3, with a Republican majority. As a conservative is retiring, Republicans must hold this seat in order to maintain control. Scott Presler will be spending the month of March in Wisconsin to recruit volunteers, train them, and lock in votes for the election.
“From gun shows to churches, gas stations to the doors of Republican voters, our mission is to meet voters where they are and have a presence 24/7/365”, Presler said. “Even before ballots hit mailboxes, we’ll already be contacting voters. When ballots do hit mailboxes, EVA’s goal will be to make sure every ballot is successfully returned as quickly as possible. From calling and texting voters to door knocking and letter writing, we’re launching a ballot chasing program to get Republicans to not only vote, but to vote early, and to be excited about locking in a win days before Election Day.”
Presler continued, “We’re also thinking outside the box: the EVA Sister City Project will pair deeply red/blue cities with vulnerable districts and states. For example, Republican volunteers in Chicago can help with the Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin; Los Angeles Republicans – long overlooked – can mobilize to flip Nevada; and solidly Republican Tennessee can ensure North Carolina goes red! If there is a Republican out there, EVA refuses to leave them unutilized.”
